Financial Controller (Manufacturing environment)

 

As a Financial Controller, you will be part of a 4 person Finance Team and work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Group Finance. You ensure reliable financial analysis, cost control, and operational finance support within a dynamic production environment.
Manufacturing finance will be your core focus—ranging from cost accounting and metal accounting to inventory management. With your sharp insights and business partnering skills, you help the organization strengthen performance and improve transparency.

What will you do ?
•    Carry out month-end closing processes and monthly reconciliations
•    Manufacturing variance analysis and product costing 
•    Precious metal accounting and reconciliations
•    Meeting reporting deadlines and assuring high quality standards in line with all relevant reporting / closing standards (i.e. IFRS, Fenzi reporting policies) 
•    Analyze inventory standard costing, inventory variances, inventory analysis, support stock counts and prepare inventory reporting.
•    Work closely with Operations and Supply Chain and identify improvement opportunities in financial and operational processes
What do we ask of you ?
•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting
•    5-7 years of experience  in manufacturing finance / cost accounting
•    Strong knowledge of costing, inventory management, and variance analysis
•    Experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics D365)
•    Excellent Excel skills; BI experience is a plus
•    Experience with audits is a strong plus
•    A proactive, hands-on team player with strong communication skills, who is improvement driven, solution oriented, and able to build strong connections across Finance and Operations
•    Good command of both Dutch and English
