Our Logistics Planning team in Maastricht is currently looking for a: Logistics Planner (fulltime)

Your challenge 

As a Logistics Planner, you are responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring export shipments worldwide. You ensure that products reach their destinations correctly, efficiently, and on time across the globe. In doing so, you take into account international laws and regulations, export and customs requirements, and the transportation of hazardous goods. You continuously coordinate with various stakeholders, resolve logistical challenges before they become issues, and ensure that the entire process runs smoothly and efficiently..

What will you do? 

• Plan and organize outbound shipments to customers and international Fenzi locations.
• Coordinate warehouse activities for picking, palletizing, and shipping in accordance with customer- and country-specific requirements.
• Organize and manage road, sea, and air transportation through external logistics partners.
• Monitor delivery deadlines and proactively anticipate deviations.
• Identify bottlenecks and actively seek effective solutions.
• Arrange return shipments and handle claims processing.
• Process shipment-related administration and monitor shipments within the ERP system.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of export regulations, customs requirements, and the transportation of hazardous goods.

What do you bring?

• Bachelor's degree level of thinking and working, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in transport planning, export logistics, or supply chain operations.
• A proactive mindset and the drive to get things done.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail while maintaining a clear overview of the bigger picture.
• Knowledge of export documentation, customs procedures, and the transportation of hazardous goods is an advantage.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is an advantage.
• A willingness to learn, take initiative, and further develop yourself - over the long term - towards a coordinating or leadership role.
