De functie
Als Operator Waste ben je verantwoordelijk voor het verwerken van afvalstromen en voor terreinwerkzaamheden. Met deze taken vervul je een belangrijke rol met betrekking tot veiligheid en milieu. In deze functie rapporteer je aan een Supervisor Production.
Je taken
- Zorgen voor correcte verwerking van afvalstromen Productie, inclusief verpakking en labelling.
- Controleren van (rol-)containers op vol en juist afval, corrigeren afval indien nodig.
- Afroepen containers externe afvalverwerker.
- Aanmelden van gevaarlijk afval via EH&S voor tijdige verwijdering.
- Zorgen voor tijdige vervanging van afvalverpakkingen.
- Geven van instructies en aanwijzingen aan gebruikers van containers.
- Zorgen voor orde en netheid van terreinen en plantsoenen, signaleren van benodigde werkzaamheden door externe firma’s.
- Uitvoeren van voorkomende werkzaamheden t.b.v. afval en terreinen, assisteren bij milieu incidenten.
Indien nodig ondersteunen bij Productiewerkzaamheden.
Veiligheid is belangrijk! Wij volgen veiligheidsrichtlijnen waaronder Arbo wetgeving en -reglementen, en interne procedures.
Jouw profiel
- Je hebt een MBO 2 werk- en denkniveau.
- Je hebt kennis van het verwerken van gevaarlijke stoffen of bent bereid dit aan te leren.
- Je werkt accuraat en hecht belang aan orde, netheid en veiligheid.
- Je bent zelfstandig en werkt goed samen met personen van verschillende afdelingen/teams.
- Je beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden.
- Je bent bereid tot volgen van cursussen zoals gevaarlijke stoffen, heftruck, reachtruck, enzovoort.

To expand our Maintenance team in Maastricht, we are looking for new colleagues in the position of Allround Technician E-M. Our team consists of 8 employees, ranging from young to very experienced and is led by Ger Onnou.
The function:
As an Operator Waste, you are responsible for processing waste streams and performing site-related tasks. These responsibilities play an important role in maintaining safety and environmental standards. In this position, you report to a Production Supervisor.
As an Operator Waste, you are responsible for processing waste streams and performing site-related tasks. These responsibilities play an important role in maintaining safety and environmental standards. In this position, you report to a Production Supervisor.
- Your tasks include:
- Ensure proper processing of production waste streams, including packaging and labeling.
- Check (roll) containers for fullness and correct waste disposal, and correct any issues if needed.
- Request collection of containers by the external waste processor.
- Register hazardous waste through EH&S to ensure timely removal.
- Ensure timely replacement of waste containers and packaging.
Provide instructions and guidance to container users. - Maintain cleanliness and order on company grounds and green areas, and signal required work to external contractors.
- Perform all tasks related to waste and grounds maintenance, and assist during environmental incidents.
- Provide support for Production activities when necessary.
Safety is important! We follow safety guidelines, including occupational health and safety legislation and regulations, as well as internal procedures.
Your profile
- A completed MBO2 degree
- You have knowledge of handling hazardous materials or are willing to learn.
- You work accurately and value order, cleanliness, and safety.
- You work independently and collaborate well with colleagues from different departments/teams.
- You have strong communication skills.
- You are willing to follow courses such as hazardous materials, forklift, reach truck, etc.
