Thiover standard

Secondary sealant for high-quality insulation glass units

Thiover Standard, Premium Polysulfide-Based Secondary Sealant for High-Quality Insulation Glass Units

As a two-component polysulfide sealant, Thiover Standard serves as the second barrier in insulating glass units. It bonds flawlessly to the glass and spacers, effectively maintaining the IGU's integrity. With exceptional mechanical properties and a high elastic modulus, Thiover is engineered to protect the functionality of the primary sealant while ensuring a durable and airtight seal. Thiover Standard complies with EN 1279:2018.
Thiover Standard, being a two-component product, is packaged in a dual-container format.

Application guidelines

Thiover offers extreme ease of use, adapting seamlessly to various application methods, from robotic and automated to manual, thereby minimizing system maintenance costs and ensuring fast handling and shipping cycles. It is essential to apply Thiover on a clean, dry, and grease-free surface. Before use, ensure compatibility with all materials that may come into direct contact with Thiover.
The workability time ranges from 40 to 90 minutes, depending on environmental conditions.
For optimal double sealing in insulating glass, we recommend using Thiover in combination with Butylver butyl sealant.
